Build an early development version of one of Imperial Japan’s most capable WWII fighters with the Hasegawa 1/48 Nakajima Ki-84 Type 4 Fighter Hayate “Frank” Prototype Limited Edition.

The Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate, known to Allied forces by the reporting name “Frank,” combined excellent speed, maneuverability and heavy armament in a fighter capable of challenging many contemporary Allied aircraft. Kit 07567 focuses on the aircraft’s prototype and pre-production development period, making it a distinctive alternative to the more familiar combat-service Hayate.

This Limited Edition release includes dedicated parts to reproduce the prototype configuration, including the larger-style vertical tail/rudder and collector exhaust arrangement, along with newly produced decals for two historically documented aircraft.
