Airfix 1/72 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vc - A02108A

Build one of the most important wartime developments of Britain’s legendary fighter with the Airfix 1/72 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vc.

Introduced as an urgent response to increasingly capable Luftwaffe fighters, the Spitfire Mk.V combined the proven Spitfire airframe with an improved Merlin engine, giving the aircraft better performance at altitude. The Mk.V would become one of the most widely produced Spitfire variants and serve with more than 140 RAF squadrons across numerous theaters of World War II.

Airfix’s modern 1/72 tooling captures the elegant lines of the Mk.Vc with finely molded surface detail and a selection of useful build options. This boxing contains 73 plastic parts and includes two historically distinctive marking schemes, covering RAF service in Britain and Royal Australian Air Force operations in the Pacific.
