Build the rugged carrier fighter that helped hold the line for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps during the crucial opening years of World War II with the Airfix 1/72 F4F-4 Wildcat.

The Grumman F4F Wildcat was the primary U.S. Navy carrier fighter during the early Pacific campaigns and saw extensive combat at battles including Midway and Guadalcanal. Although it lacked some of the performance of its Japanese opponents, the Wildcat earned a reputation for toughness, reliability and durability in combat.

Airfix’s 1/72 F4F-4 captures the compact, purposeful appearance of this famous naval fighter in a detailed 58-part kit. The model includes features such as a detailed cockpit and undercarriage along with the distinctive folding-wing configuration of the F4F-4.
