AK Interactive Terrains – Desert Sand 250ml is a ready-to-use acrylic texture designed to replicate fine, dry desert sand for dioramas and display bases. The light sand tone and smooth granular finish make it ideal for arid landscapes, North African campaigns, Middle Eastern settings, and modern desert environments.

The thick paste can be applied directly from the jar using a brush or spatula and shaped while wet to create dunes, wind-blown ridges, footprints, and vehicle tracks. Once dry, it cures with a natural matte finish that can be enhanced with washes, pigments, or subtle dry brushing to add depth and tonal variation.

Terrains – Desert Sand adheres well to plastic, resin, wood, plaster, and foam surfaces. It can be layered with rocks, sparse vegetation, and weathering effects to build realistic desert groundwork.
