Arma Hobby 1/72 Curtiss Hawk 81-A2 Flying Tigers

Build one of the most iconic fighters of the early Pacific War with the Arma Hobby 1/72 Curtiss Hawk 81-A2 “Flying Tigers” (70094). This highly detailed plastic model kit recreates the famous Hawk 81-A2 flown by the American Volunteer Group (AVG) over China and Burma during 1941–1942.

Better known as the Flying Tigers, Claire Chennault’s volunteer pilots became legendary for their combat operations against Japanese forces and for the unmistakable shark-mouth markings carried by their Curtiss fighters. The Hawk 81-A2 was an export version of the early Curtiss P-40 family and is closely associated with some of the AVG’s most famous pilots.

Arma Hobby’s newly tooled 1/72 Hawk 81-A2 combines finely rendered surface detail with modeller-friendly engineering. The kit includes a 3D-printed pilot’s seat with molded harness detail, pre-cut masks for the canopy and wheels, and premium Cartograf decals for three historic Flying Tigers aircraft.
